Role Overview

As a Junior IT Support Engineer, you will be at the frontline of IT operations, resolving 1st and 2nd line support tickets and providing hands-on technical assistance. You’ll collaborate with global teams, support our Bengaluru office, and maintain enterprise tools and SaaS platforms used across Cognite.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage & resolve 1st and 2nd line support tickets
• Provide hands-on support for IT hardware, systems access, and SaaS tools
• Handle user identity, group, and license management
• Troubleshoot across platforms like Azure (Intune/Entra ID), Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, Confluence
• Document IT processes and contribute to the knowledge base
• Collaborate with cross-functional global teams for efficient operations

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in IT operations or support roles
• Experience using ITSM tools (preferably Jira Service Management)
• Proficiency in operating systems (MacOS & Windows)
• Exposure to security tools (Microsoft Defender, Intune, Jamf Pro)
• Familiar with SAML SSO, SCIM, and SaaS platforms
• Strong collaboration, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
• Service-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and in a team
