Role Summary – DevOps Engineer (Cloud & Infrastructure)

As a DevOps/Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, building, and automating infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Your work will impact mission-critical production environments that require high availability, scalability, and security compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) with Terraform (modules, locals, reusability)
• Perform configuration management using Ansible or Puppet
• Manage container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (kubectl, Pods, Services, Ingress, etc.)
• Build robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
• Set up monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK Stack
• Troubleshoot VPCs, security groups, subnets, and other cloud networking components
• Implement disaster recovery and high availability solutions (multi-region, autoscaling, backups)
• Automate infrastructure and operations using Python or Go
• Interact with clients and stakeholders for consultative solutioning and deployment

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or CloudOps
• Deep expertise with at least one cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform (including best practices and advanced constructs)
• CI/CD experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Familiarity with logging/monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK
• Proficiency in scripting languages: Python or Go
• Strong cloud networking knowledge: VPCs, routing, NAT gateways, security groups
• Experience in disaster recovery, cloud backup, and autoscaling architecture
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Cloud certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure Administrator, GCP Cloud Engineer)
• Experience with GitOps tools like ArgoCD or Flux
• Familiarity with Service Mesh technologies like Istio, Linkerd
• Prior experience working in regulated industries or multi-tenant cloud environments
