Job Description
As a Trainee DevOps Engineer, you will support the DevOps team in building automation, optimizing pipelines, and maintaining cloud environments. You’ll work closely with development and QA teams to learn and support deployments in live project environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in building, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate manual tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams for smooth code integration and deployment workflows.
- Monitor system performance and availability using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
- Learn and support infrastructure provisioning on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Document processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot basic issues in staging and production environments.
- Stay updated with evolving DevOps tools, technologies, and practices.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools such as AWS DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).
- Understanding of Linux and Windows operating environments.
- Knowledge of Git and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) is a plus.
- Any DevOps internship or certification will be an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
