Role Overview:
As a Level 2 Technical Support Engineer (TSE), you will serve as a crucial bridge between our customers and internal teams, providing technical solutions and ongoing support. Acting as the first point of escalation from L1 support, you’ll handle and resolve technical issues, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Address and resolve support tickets escalated by L1 through phone, email, and remote assistance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues within defined SLAs.
• Stay updated with the latest Coates products and underlying technologies.
• Maintain strong client relationships through timely and clear communication.
• Provide basic network support and hardware configuration, including software installation.
• Collaborate with onsite technicians for L2 troubleshooting and store setup.
• Perform device maintenance, including SSD and RAM replacements and OS/software installation.
• Escalate technical issues to L3 support when necessary.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent (BCA/MCA).
• Basic knowledge of IT systems, networking, and hardware.
• Familiarity with Linux environments (especially Ubuntu).
• Understanding of server-client architecture.
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Preferred Skills:

• Scripting knowledge (Bash, JavaScript, PHP).
• Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
• Cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) knowledge is a plus.
