Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and manage Linux servers (CentOS, Ubuntu, RHEL)
- Provide technical support and resolve system-level issues
- Maintain and monitor cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.)
- Manage hosting servers, perform backups, and ensure high availability
- Configure firewall, security policies, and server hardening
- Handle client queries and provide remote technical assistance
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Linux (CLI), Apache/Nginx, MySQL/PostgreSQL
- Server security and performance tuning
- Experience with cPanel, WHM, or Plesk
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Linode, DigitalOcean
- Good troubleshooting and customer handling skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with shell scripting or automation tools
- Familiarity with virtualization (KVM, VMware)
- Understanding of DNS, mail servers, FTP, and SSL management
- Monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or UptimeRobot
