Role Overview:

This unique opportunity for a DevSecOps engineer is based within the CloudBees platform product team. In this role, you will help customers using Jenkins onboard to the CloudBees SaaS platform. You will work across professional services, support, and product teams to analyze customer CI/CD workflows and develop migration plans that deliver value from the CloudBees platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Outcomes: Identify and deliver meaningful customer outcomes, ensuring that customers get the most value from their investment in CloudBees solutions.
• Customer Advocacy: Serve as the customer advocate within CloudBees, capturing feedback and relaying it to relevant teams.
• Collaboration: Partner with customer-facing teams to align support efforts with broader customer success initiatives.
• Knowledge Sharing: Promote knowledge sharing through documentation, training materials, and public resources.
• Product Insights: Work with the product team to identify priorities from field engagements.
• SaaS Opportunities: Identify and incubate new SaaS product opportunities by analyzing market trends, customer pain points, and emerging technologies.

What the Role Requires:

• Experience: 4+ years in a DevSecOps Engineer or Build Engineer role.
• CI/CD Expertise: Strong understanding of how engineering teams can improve their Software Delivery Lifecycle using automation, including CI/CD.
• Cloud Platforms: Expertise in designing and implementing solutions on cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Jenkins Experience: Hands-on experience with Jenkins (administration, architecture, writing pipelines, troubleshooting builds).
• Version Control & SCM: Knowledge of Git (Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab), Docker, and related tools.
• DevSecOps Practices: Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Feature Flagging, and Compliance.
• Security Tools: Familiarity with security tools like BlackDuck, Coverity, Tosca.
• Tools Experience: Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, and ITIL tools.
• Teamwork: Experienced working in distributed teams across different geographical locations.
• Communication: Strong problem-solving and communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
