Job Purpose:

To collaborate with the SAP Basis team in engineering, automating, and supporting Clariant’s SAP solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) on AWS.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and operate Cloud Automation Framework (IaC) for SAP.
• Develop roadmap for SAP Cloud Computing automation.
• Design new SAP services and define automation specs.
• Manage service orders and align them with IT standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and improve IT processes.
• Provide IT service support and propose improvements.
• Monitor and optimize SAP Basis service processes.
• Support SAP Basis/Security solution implementations.
• Ensure service delivery aligns with SLAs and KPIs.
• Modernize and deploy SAP Basis services on cloud and SAP RISE.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years in Cloud Automation, DevOps, or SAP Basis.
• Experience in enterprise IT cloud projects.
• Knowledge of version control and CI tools (Git, GitLab).
• DevOps scripting: PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• SAP Basis or DB admin and monitoring experience.
• Strong project planning and team coordination skills.
• Ability to evaluate and recommend cloud technologies.
• Experience with SAP RISE and standardization initiatives.
• Strong task prioritization and time management.
