About the Role
Citco IT is a global team of professionals responsible for building and supporting IT applications across Citco Group’s business units. We are hiring a Junior Developer to work on a new strategic financial application in a collaborative and technically advanced environment. The position involves working closely with architects, analysts, QA teams, and developers across Citco's global teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and code scalable solutions based on development best practices.
- Optimize existing installations to meet new business requirements.
- Create and maintain system documentation and support knowledge base.
- Explore and propose innovative technologies and practices for process efficiency.
- Collaborate with Citco teams and external vendors.
- Support continuous improvement and suggest technical alternatives when needed.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience across various development platforms.
- Working knowledge of:
- Python and VBScript
- Java programming
- UNIX/Linux operating systems
- Amazon Web Services (EC2, Lambda, S3)
- SQL
- Ability to implement API calls within automated workflows.
- Experience with at least one RPA tool (UiPath preferred, or Blue Prism/Automation Anywhere).
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Comfortable with code reviews and development governance processes.
