Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated Junior Linux Admin to join our IT operations team. Ideal for candidates with 6 months to 2 years of experience, this role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on exposure in Linux system administration, troubleshooting, network support, and infrastructure management in an enterprise-grade environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Linux System Troubleshooting: Resolve issues related to Linux servers and workstations.
• Operating System Management: Install, configure, and troubleshoot Linux OS (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat).
• User Management: Create and manage user accounts and permissions.
• Software Installation: Maintain essential applications and utilities across systems.
• End-User Support: Provide first-level support to users on Linux-based environments.
• System Security: Implement firewall rules, antivirus setups, and hardening measures.
• Patching & Updates: Manage regular updates, patching cycles, and reinstallation of Linux apps.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 6 months to 2 years in Linux administration.
• OS Proficiency: Hands-on with Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat Linux.
• Scripting Skills: Basic knowledge of Bash or Python scripting.
• Networking: Familiarity with DNS, DHCP, SSH, and related services.
• Monitoring: Exposure to tools for system health monitoring and performance tuning.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and time-management.
