Join our dynamic team as a Software Engineering Advisor, where you'll design, build, test, and deliver large-scale software applications and platforms. This Band 4 Contributor Role emphasizes innovation, automation, and collaboration across teams, leveraging tools like Databricks and Azure to drive strategic solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end solutions from requirements to production.
• Build data engineering toolchains and reusable patterns using Databricks.
• Follow best software engineering practices with an automation-first mindset.
• Adhere to enterprise architecture and collaborate in a high-performance environment.

Required Skills

• Cloud Security: OAuth2, JWT, encryption, secret management
• Big Data & Tools: Spark, Hadoop, Databricks, Snowflake, EMR, Azure Data Factory
• Streaming & Messaging: Kafka, Spark Structured Streaming, Apache ActiveMQ, Azure Service Bus
• Microservices & APIs: Spring Boot, Quarkus, Kubernetes, OpenShift, CloudFoundry
• Cloud Technologies: Azure, Lambda, S3, Elastic Search
• Programming: Python, Scala, Java, JavaScript
• DevOps & Automation: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, IaC tools like Terraform
• Testing: TDD, BDD, mocking frameworks
• Methodologies: Agile development, CI/CD pipelines
• Architecture: Batch, streaming, and event-driven pipelines

Required Experience & Education

• 11–13 years in software engineering with a focus on data engineering and API/middleware development
• 3+ years of experience in Databricks on Azure
• Proven data engineering experience
