Job Description:
Ciena is seeking a motivated New Graduate Engineer to join their Packet Optical products team, focusing on telecom network aggregation and access solutions. Work in a collaborative environment with hands-on exposure to cutting-edge optical transport and automation technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and develop test plans validating customer use-cases on Packet Optical products
• Create and manage test topologies for manual and automated test execution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, design, and release management
• Develop automation scripts using Python and Automation Frameworks
• Analyze test results, file defect reports, and retest defect resolutions
• Learn functioning of optical transport equipment and lab tools
• Drive continuous product quality improvements
