Job Description:
As a Junior Security Analyst, you will assist and collaborate with the senior security team to identify security threats, conduct vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with global privacy regulations. This role offers an excellent start for freshers eager to grow in cybersecurity and data privacy domains.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct vulnerability assessments on web applications, networks, and systems
• Perform privacy risk assessments and audits
• Ensure compliance with privacy laws such as DPDP, GDPR, CCPA, and others
• Manage data subject rights requests including access, correction, deletion, and portability
• Lead investigations and responses to cybersecurity-related data breaches
• Report privacy incidents to regulatory authorities as required
• Develop and deliver privacy and cybersecurity training programs
• Promote a culture of privacy and security within the organization
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and internal teams (IT, Legal, HR, Marketing)
• Act as Consent Manager: draft, maintain consent policies, and audit consent management practices
• Perform penetration testing to identify security vulnerabilities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Basic understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and operating systems (Windows, Linux)
• Knowledge of security concepts and best practices
• Experience or familiarity with security tools like Nmap, Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP (preferred but not mandatory)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Professional certifications (CIPP, CIPM, CIPT) preferred but not mandatory
• Freshers encouraged to apply
• Local candidates preferred
