Job Overview
Cateina Technology is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to strengthen development and deployment workflows across enterprise cloud environments. This role focuses on AWS cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, Kubernetes, and high-availability systems, ensuring scalable and secure application delivery. Ideal for professionals targeting high-paying cloud and DevOps engineering careers.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Management

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure on AWS cloud platforms
• Optimize systems for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
• Ensure high availability for production environments

CI/CD & Automation

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar tools
• Automate deployment, testing, and release workflows
• Improve engineering productivity through DevOps best practices

Monitoring, Logging & Reliability

• Implement monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack
• Maintain system uptime and proactively resolve performance bottlenecks
• Support incident response and root cause analysis

Configuration & Containerization

• Automate system configuration using Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Work with containerized environments using Docker
• Manage orchestration workflows with Kubernetes (mandatory skill)

Security & Compliance

• Implement cloud security best practices
• Maintain compliance with enterprise and industry standards
• Secure infrastructure against vulnerabilities

Collaboration & Documentation

• Partner with development, QA, and operations teams to support build and deployment environments
• Maintain accurate documentation for infrastructure and operational processes

Troubleshooting & Support

• Diagnose and resolve issues across development, staging, and production systems
• Provide technical support in fast-paced, mission-critical environments

Required Skills

Technical Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
• Mandatory knowledge of Kubernetes
• Experience with Docker containerization
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
• Hands-on exposure to monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to thrive in dynamic, high-growth tech environments

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Docker Certified Associate, or similar certifications

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must be local to Mumbai or nearby suburbs (onsite role)
• Must own a laptop or desktop
• Flexible to work shifts if required
• Willingness to travel to client locations across India when needed
