About the Role

As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you’ll support Catchpoint’s global monitoring platform, working closely with operations and development teams. You’ll automate infrastructure deployment at scale, monitor system health, and ensure high availability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage the service lifecycle from design to deployment and retirement.
• Measure and monitor availability, latency, and system health, establishing performance baselines and automation.
• Design and maintain logging and telemetry systems for managing services.
• Develop software to automate operational tasks and reduce manual work.
• Troubleshoot priority incidents, conduct blameless post-mortems, and ensure issue resolution.
• Identify application patterns and support service-level objectives.
• Deploy and maintain systems across multiple cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) and physical infrastructure.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems.

Requirements

• Strong experience with application servers, web servers, and databases.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure Automation and CI/CD tools (preferably Terraform).
• Experience with multiple cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Solid networking knowledge and understanding of Internet Architecture (BGP, peering, DNS).
• 2+ years of incident resolution experience in large-scale operations.
• Hands-on experience with cloud deployment, monitoring, and ops analysis tools (Prometheus, Elasticsearch, Grafana, Kibana, Splunk, Jenkins, etc.).
• 3+ years of programming experience in Python, Bash, PowerShell, C, etc.
• Virtualization experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Appreciation for diverse perspectives and collaborative teamwork.
