About the Role

CareStack™ is hiring Site Reliability Engineers (SRE) to join our team in Trivandrum. This is a great opportunity for freshers who want to start a career in SRE, DevOps, and Cloud Infrastructure. You will work on automation, observability, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and system reliability for a cutting-edge dental practice management platform.

Key Responsibilities

1. BAU Operations: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
2. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop patterns that meet security and engineering standards.
3. CI/CD Pipelines: Build pipelines using Octopus, GitLab-CI, and cloud-native tools like ArgoCD.
4. Automation: Create and maintain scripts/tools to streamline operations.
5. System Observability: Ensure uptime monitoring, manage observability setup, and write PromQL queries.
6. Runbooks: Develop detailed runbooks for detection, remediation, and restoration of services.
7. Incident Management: Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues quickly and improve processes.
8. Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze logs & performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
9. Industry Best Practices: Stay updated on SRE, alerting, observability, and automation trends.
10. On-Call Support: Actively participate in rotational shifts and on-call duties.
11. Effective Communication: Share updates and technical details with teams in clear written and verbal formats.

Required Skills

• Understanding of SRE concepts – Monitoring, reliability, automation.
• Basic scripting knowledge – Bash, Python (preferred).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools – Octopus, GitLab CI, ArgoCD.
• Cloud Fundamentals – AWS / Azure basics.
• Observability tools – Metrics, logging, and PromQL queries.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
