Job Description

CapeStart is offering an exciting DevOps Internship opportunity for final-year students who are passionate about cloud technologies, automation, and modern infrastructure engineering. This internship provides hands-on exposure to enterprise cloud environments, CI/CD automation, and DevOps best practices, working directly on live production projects.

As a DevOps Intern, you will collaborate closely with experienced DevOps engineers to support cloud infrastructure, monitoring systems, and deployment pipelines, gaining real-world experience in AWS, Azure, GCP, Linux administration, and networking.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in building, deploying, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools.
• Support cloud infrastructure management across AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Work on server configuration, system monitoring, performance optimization, and uptime management.
• Automate routine operational tasks to improve deployment speed, reliability, and scalability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network, cloud, and infrastructure issues.
• Assist with infrastructure documentation, configuration guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support cloud-native applications.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS).
• Knowledge of Cloud Computing fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems and command-line usage.
• Interest in DevOps automation, cloud infrastructure, and system reliability.

• Hands-on exposure to Linux administration.
