Internship Overview

Camping World is looking for a Cloud Intern to join the IT Infrastructure and Cloud team for the Summer 2026 internship program. This role offers hands-on experience in scripting, application configuration, cloud environment documentation, diagnostics, and technical support. Ideal for students who are passionate about Information Technology and eager to learn in a real-world hybrid work environment.

Candidates must be able to work from the Chicago or Lincolnshire office on a hybrid basis for the full 10-week internship.

What You’ll Do

• Review system diagnostics to assess functionality and environment efficiency.
• Coordinate schedules and activities between application teams and IT staff.
• Provide technical support to developers and troubleshoot software issues.
• Write scripts and code to automate tasks.
• Assist with inventorying and documenting cloud environments.
• Assess security tools and prepare reports.
• Collaborate with the SRE team on modernization initiatives.
• Contribute to CI/CD and Kubernetes project planning and execution.
• Provide technical training and guidance when needed.

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Expected graduation between Dec 2025 – July 2027.
• Ability to relocate to Chicago for the internship period (no housing/relocation assistance provided).
• Willingness to participate in a Capstone Internship Project and present findings to executive leadership.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Prior experience as an IT Analyst, Consultant, or in a similar technical role.
• Knowledge of IT concepts including databases, system security, troubleshooting, and project management.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent organizational abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional conduct.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
