Role Overview

As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will assist in building and maintaining the cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring systems for our applications.
You’ll work closely with development, QA, and IT teams to ensure smooth and automated deployments across environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Automation & CI/CD Pipelines:
  Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
• Infrastructure Management:
  Support and optimize AWS, Azure, and GCP environments for scalability, cost efficiency, and security.
• Monitoring & Performance Tuning:
  Set up tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack to monitor system health and performance.
• Configuration Management:
  Manage systems using Ansible, Chef, Terraform, or Puppet for consistency and automation.
• Scripting & Automation:
  Write scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate repetitive tasks and workflows.
• Version Control:
  Use Git for branching, versioning, and maintaining release processes.
• Troubleshooting & Incident Response:
  Help resolve cloud and infrastructure issues quickly while performing root cause analysis.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, CloudFormation) and GCP (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Understanding of RabbitMQ setup, configuration, and clustering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good teamwork abilities.

Good to Have

• Certifications in AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, or DevOps.
• Experience with Azure, IBM Cloud, or hybrid cloud environments.
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and infrastructure security principles.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

• Any Graduate / Postgraduate in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
