Job Description:
Bristol Myers Squibb is hiring for the position of Software Engineer II to join the GPS Data & Analytics Enablement Team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining enterprise data lake solutions, designing high-quality data pipelines, and supporting advanced analytics across the company’s global product development.

Ideal candidates will have experience with AWS cloud platforms, ETL pipeline development, and big data technologies, and a passion for data-driven innovation in the healthcare space. This is a high-impact role contributing to life-changing science and transforming patient care through cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data products and cloud-based data pipelines (AWS)
• Work with technologies like Python, Node.js, React.js, Spark, SQL, AWS Redshift, S3, Glue, Athena
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Architects, and Analysts to ensure scalable and reliable data infrastructure
• Implement data validation, quality checks, and secure access controls
• Contribute to Data Cataloging and metadata management processes
• Participate in end-to-end data lifecycle management and architecture improvements
• Optimize performance and cost efficiency of data infrastructure
• Stay updated on emerging data engineering trends and best practices

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Neo4J, IAM, AWS CloudFormation Templates (CFTs)
• Hands-on with Domino, Data Lakes, and CI/CD tools
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure management and DevOps principles
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams
