Department / Team Overview

The SRE team at Bright Money is responsible for infrastructure reliability, automation, cloud operations, and monitoring. Interns will work closely with engineers to maintain high availability of fintech services, streamline operations, and implement automation to reduce manual toil.

Key Responsibilities – SRE Intern

• Support daily SRE/DevOps operational tasks
• Assist with AWS cost analysis, tagging, compliance, and optimization
• Maintain monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and runbooks
• Contribute to automation using scripting (Bash/Python)
• Perform ad-hoc troubleshooting, log analysis, and metrics reporting
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, and internal infrastructure processes
• Participate in on-call duties on a shift basis to ensure infrastructure reliability
