Role Overview
As a Junior Cloud Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure for Bravura’s cloud-hosted clients. You will leverage Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate deployments, optimize performance, and ensure security compliance. This role requires expertise in Kubernetes, CI/CD automation, and Linux systems administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and automate AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters using Terraform.
• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for continuous delivery and deployment.
• Implement monitoring solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, and AppDynamics.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Networking, and Middleware teams to deliver efficient cloud services.
• Resolve infrastructure issues, conduct root cause analysis, and improve system reliability.
• Ensure infrastructure security through patching, encryption, and access controls.
• Document technical designs, best practices, and automation workflows.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge-sharing across teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, EKS, IAM, VPC, ELB).
• 2+ years of experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong background in Kubernetes administration (CKA certification is a plus).
• Proficiency in Bash, Python, or Go scripting.
• CI/CD experience with GitLab or equivalent tools.
• Solid understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, NAT).
• Experience with monitoring/alerting tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in global, cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certification (Solutions Architect, SysOps, or DevOps Engineer).
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices.
• Experience with JIRA, ServiceNow, and change management processes.
