About the Role

Branch is expanding its footprint in India and is looking for DevOps Interns to join the cloud infrastructure team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to cloud automation, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable infrastructure management — critical to powering Branch’s data-driven fintech products.

Successful interns may be offered a full-time opportunity based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for application and data services.
• Work with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes for scalable deployments.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Support AWS cloud operations (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda) and similar GCP/Azure environments.
• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog, ELK).
• Troubleshoot deployment, networking, and performance issues in staging and production.
• Collaborate with developers and data teams to ensure smooth release cycles.

Required Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals — OS, Networking, and Scripting.
• Experience with Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Basic experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or DataDog (preferred).
• Strong collaboration and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
