Job Description:

Bounteous is hiring a detail-driven SRE Engineer with a focus on UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and QA to support the release of high-quality software solutions. As part of the Data, AI & Cloud technology division, this hybrid role based in Chennai will involve validating new features, executing test plans, identifying issues, and ensuring all releases meet user expectations.

You’ll work cross-functionally with developers, stakeholders, and product managers to ensure functional and stable deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and execute UAT and QA test plans
• Identify, document, and track software issues using Jira or similar tools
• Validate business logic and new features against client requirements
• Support pre-launch readiness and perform post-deployment validation
• Collaborate with Dev, QA, and business teams to resolve issues quickly
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate test findings using Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides

Required Skills:

• Experience in UAT, QA testing, or SRE environments
• Knowledge of Jira, TestRail, or equivalent bug tracking/test management systems
• Proficiency in Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
• Familiarity with Slack and agile collaboration environments
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
