Boeing India Engineering & Technology Center (BIETC) is seeking an Associate DevOps Engineer to join their global digital technology team. In this role, you’ll work on mission-critical DevOps and cloud automation solutions that ensure Boeing’s digital systems operate with maximum reliability, scalability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage DevOps pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, and Git for CI/CD automation.
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications to build scalable environments.
• Manage and optimize cloud-based managed services on AWS and Azure (Databases, Monitoring, Error Logging).
• Build and deploy microservices-based applications using Spring Framework, REST APIs, and SOAP Web Services.
• Maintain MySQL, PostgreSQL, and other relational databases for high availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional global teams across the US, India, and other regions.
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) using JUnit and other automated testing frameworks.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance across DevOps tools, build systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum practices, sprint planning, and code reviews.
• Perform incident resolution, root cause analysis, and system monitoring to maintain uptime.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering.
• 0-4 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Software Development.
• Hands-on expertise in:
  • Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Maven, GIT, and Shell scripting.
  • Cloud technologies: AWS, Azure, Lambda, CloudFormation, RDS, ECS.
  • Spring Boot, ReactJS, and REST API development.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum and working with distributed global teams.

Preferred Skills

• AWS or Azure certification preferred.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog).
• Exposure to security best practices, DevSecOps, and SRE principles.
• Strong understanding of software version control and release management.
