Job Overview

Blue Yonder is looking for an experienced DevOps Automation Engineer with strong skills in writing and debugging automation pipelines, infrastructure provisioning, and deployment scripting. You'll work with cutting-edge cloud infrastructure, automation tools, and contribute to a scalable, secure, event-driven microservices environment hosted on Microsoft Azure.

The ideal candidate should have experience with GitHub Actions, Ansible, Python scripting, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, along with a solid background in DevOps/DevSecOps.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement multistage YAML pipelines using GitHub Actions for build and deployment automation
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
• Manage source code repositories and streamline branching/merging strategies
• Modernize and migrate legacy CI pipelines (e.g., Jenkins to GitHub Actions)
• Enable containerization, automated testing, and secure deployment practices
• Collaborate with developers to improve build, release, and monitoring processes
• Support hybrid/multi-cloud migration strategies (Azure/AWS/GCP)
• Promote self-service configuration and DevSecOps principles across teams

• Automation Tools: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, Chef
• Build Tools: Gradle, Maven, MSBuild

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in DevOps engineering or related automation roles
• Proficiency with Windows, Linux, and Unix systems
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.)
• Deep knowledge of GitHub and version control workflows
• Familiarity with Agile development, code quality tools, and best practices
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and documentation skills
• Passion for learning and adopting new tools and practices
