Role Overview – Intern, DevOps Engineer

Black Duck is hiring DevOps Interns to join its CloudOps team in Bengaluru.
This 6–8 month internship provides hands-on exposure to cloud infrastructure management, automation, and CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and gain real-world experience in CloudOps and DevSecOps environments.

Internship Details

• Position: DevOps Engineer Intern
• Location: Bengaluru (Prestige Blue Chip Park, Near Dairy Circle, Opp. Christ University)
• Duration: 6–8 Months
• Stipend: ₹40,000 per month
• Work Type: Onsite Internship

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and monitoring cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Work with Kubernetes clusters for deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting.
• Support CI/CD pipeline development using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Automate routine DevOps tasks using Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and scalability.
• Gain hands-on experience in infrastructure management, automation, and DevOps tools.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Class of 2025 eligible).
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Understanding of GitOps tools like ArgoCD or Flux.
• Knowledge of Linux system administration.
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
