Job Description
We are hiring a Desktop Support Engineer (Fresher) to join our IT team in Pune (Baner location).
This is an excellent opportunity for freshers who are passionate about IT hardware, software installation, and troubleshooting.
As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining desktops, laptops, peripherals, and ensuring smooth IT operations within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembling and disassembling computer systems
- Setting up and troubleshooting peripherals (monitor, keyboard, mouse, cables, etc.)
- Diagnosing issues like no display, system not booting, slow performance, faulty connections
- Installing and configuring operating systems (Windows/Linux)
- BIOS/UEFI configuration and troubleshooting
- Installing drivers and essential software
- Performing regular hardware maintenance
- Handling IT inventory and documentation
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems
- Familiarity with BIOS/UEFI
- Hands-on experience with software & driver installation
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
