Job Description

As a Level 1 Service Desk Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and assistance to end-users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Incident Resolution: Respond and resolve IT-related incidents and service requests from users.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose hardware and software issues remotely or in-person.
  • Voice-based Technical Support: Guide users on effectively using IT systems, software, and hardware.
  • Escalation: Route complex issues to Level 2 teams while maintaining ownership of the ticket.
  • Documentation: Record detailed incident reports and solutions in the knowledge base.
  • SLA Adherence: Meet or exceed response and resolution time commitments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications like CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft Certified Professional are a plus.
  • Prior experience in a Level 1 IT support role.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting Windows and/or Mac OS environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
