Role Overview – DevOps Intern

As a DevOps Intern, you will work directly with engineering and product teams to build, deploy, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure that supports real-time financial applications. This role provides hands-on exposure to production DevOps environments, Kubernetes-based deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and Linux systems.

This is not a passive internship. You will actively contribute to infrastructure automation, deployment workflows, and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

DevOps & Infrastructure Support

• Assist in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-native infrastructure.
• Support Kubernetes-based container orchestration for scalable applications.
• Work on Linux-based systems for application hosting and automation.
• Assist with system integration and deployment processes across environments.

CI/CD & Automation

• Support Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Assist in automating build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth and reliable releases.

System Reliability & Collaboration

• Monitor application health, system performance, and deployment stability.
• Troubleshoot basic infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including software developers, data teams, and product stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Understanding of DevOps fundamentals and software development workflows.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools and practices.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and container-based architectures.
• Basic to advanced understanding of Linux operating systems.
• Exposure to infrastructure automation and system integration concepts.

Educational Background

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in:
  • Computer Science
  • Information Technology
  • Software Engineering
  • Or related technical field

Professional Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
