About the Role

The Apprentice role at Bank of America provides an opportunity to build strong foundational experience in cloud computing, DevOps, system engineering, and production support.

You’ll collaborate with global teams to ensure the smooth functioning of trading platforms, payment systems, and digital applications used worldwide.

This program gives you hands-on exposure to IT Infrastructure, Cloud Operations, Application Performance Engineering, and Incident Management — preparing you for high-demand global technology careers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 production support for business-critical applications.
• Monitor application performance, logs, and event alerts using tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, and AppDynamics.
• Respond to incidents, triage issues, and ensure fast resolution to minimize downtime.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and document findings for continuous improvement.
• Assist with capacity management, application health monitoring, and trend analysis.
• Support automation initiatives using Python, Shell Scripting, or PowerShell.
• Ensure compliance with ITIL-based incident and problem management processes.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams across network, storage, and cloud operations.
• Participate in business continuity planning and change management activities.
