Axiom Technologies is hiring a Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance, troubleshoot IT issues, and ensure smooth functioning of end-user systems. This role is ideal for professionals with foundational experience in IT support, system administration, and network troubleshooting who are looking to grow their careers in enterprise IT environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for Windows operating systems, hardware, and software issues.
• Diagnose and resolve system problems through structured troubleshooting methods.
• Support basic networking functions including IP configuration, DNS, internet connectivity, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
• Manage user accounts and access through Active Directory, including password resets and permissions.
• Utilize ticketing systems and remote support tools to track, prioritize, and resolve incidents.
• Communicate effectively with users to understand issues and deliver timely resolutions.
• Maintain documentation for recurring issues and solutions to improve service efficiency.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Windows OS administration.
• Basic hardware and software troubleshooting expertise.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals such as IP addressing, DNS, and wireless connectivity.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory user management.
• Familiarity with IT service management tools and remote desktop support platforms.
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
