Key Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining infrastructure with modern DevOps tools
• Help set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
• Use Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Automate tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
• Support cloud-based deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Document operational processes and incident response playbooks
• Join on-call rotations with guidance and mentorship
• Participate in team retrospectives and learning sessions

Must-Have Fundamentals

• Familiarity with Linux-based systems
• Basic scripting (Bash, Python, or Go)
• Understanding of networking and distributed systems
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps culture
• Interest in containers (Docker) and Kubernetes
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Nice-to-Have / Willing to Learn

• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
• Monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog
• GitOps (ArgoCD, Flux), CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
• Basics of AWS, Azure, or GCP
