## About the Role

AXA XL is looking for a motivated and skilled DevOps Engineer to join our CI/CD and automation ecosystem team. This role focuses on building, maintaining, and improving the DevOps automation platform that enables seamless application delivery.

You will collaborate with software developers, architects, and vendors to ensure performance, observability, automation, and high availability across platforms.

## Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD tooling for scalable application deployment
• Develop DevOps best practices using automation and cloud capabilities
• Support migration projects from legacy to Azure-based cloud solutions
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure, automated deployments
• Monitor platform performance, identifying bottlenecks and optimizations
• Troubleshoot CI/CD issues in collaboration with dev and security teams
• Document DevOps processes, tools, and best practices
• Ensure platform security and compliance with data protection regulations
• Stay updated with latest DevOps tools and trends

## Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a DevOps/Platform Engineer in software development environments
• Deep understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD lifecycle
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Strong command-line skills: PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bash
• Experience with Azure cloud services
• Familiarity with Terraform or similar automation tools
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
• Solid Linux and Windows system administration expertise
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

## Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Java and related frameworks
• Scripting in Python, Ruby, Java
• Experience with tools like Harness, GitHub Enterprise, OpenShift, and JFrog Artifactory
