Job Description:
Join Avaloq’s international DevOps team in Pune and Zürich to help scale, automate, and manage cloud-based infrastructure for financial products and services. You will be instrumental in building CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud deployments, and optimizing DevOps workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) for automated software delivery
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible
- Optimize and manage nightly and integration build jobs
- Manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on OCI or Microsoft Azure
- Deploy and orchestrate containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
- Ensure effective release management and post-deployment monitoring
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and pipeline issues and continuously improve DevOps workflows
- Provide support to internal development and operations teams
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or related field
- Minimum 4 years experience in DevOps / BuildOps roles
- Hands-on expertise with Jenkins and CI/CD systems
- Strong scripting skills in Bash or Python
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
- Strong working knowledge of cloud platforms (OCI, Azure)
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux systems and command-line environments
- Experience with container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, OpenShift)
- Version control using Git and understanding of software development workflows
