About the Role
Atlassian is seeking a Technical Support Engineer with expertise in SQL database troubleshooting, cloud application support, and REST API integrations. This role involves delivering world-class customer service to global SMB clients, troubleshooting enterprise cloud products, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve customer configuration issues and respond via chat, email, and other digital channels.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose SQL database queries, REST APIs, and web technologies.
• Ensure customer success with Atlassian Cloud products like Atlassian Access and Atlassian Account.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and fix product bugs.
• Provide implementation guidance to customers, solution partners, and internal teams.
• Assist APAC customers during 4:30 AM – 1:30 PM IST shift, including weekends.

Required Skills

• 3–4 years in technical support or customer-facing engineering roles.
• Strong SQL skills, able to write and optimize queries.
• Knowledge of network protocols: TCP/IP, OSI model, DNS, DHCP, NAT, LAN/WAN, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
• Familiarity with Linux, Java web servers, and cloud technologies.
• Excellent verbal, written, and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Extras

• Experience with Atlassian Confluence, Splunk, and API testing tools.
• Understanding of MIB/SNMP for network monitoring.
• Experience with cloud security practices and enterprise SaaS integrations.
