Job Description:
As a member of the arrivia Platform Engineering team, the DevOps Engineer will focus on Azure Cloud Engineering best practices around implementation and management of arrivia's enterprise Azure cloud infrastructure. You'll collaborate with engineering and development teams to implement optimal cloud solutions and improve existing infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Design, architect, and build cloud-native applications using Terraform
- Collaborate with teams to implement cloud-native solutions
- Provide technical mentorship in cloud architecture and design
- Develop and maintain documentation for cloud solutions
- Shape and improve team practices in cloud development and operations
- Stay updated on the latest Azure cloud services
Requirements:
- 2+ years of hands-on Azure cloud experience
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps for CICD pipeline development
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and best practices
- Experience in scripting with Azure CLI and PowerShell
- Familiarity with Azure services: App Services, Key Vaults, Storage Accounts, Azure SQL, Networking, Monitoring
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5 years of Azure cloud experience
- Experience with ARM templates or Terraform
- Familiarity with microservices and Kubernetes (AKS)
- Exposure to AWS cloud services
- Knowledge of full-stack development (Angular, .NET/C#)
- Microsoft Certifications (DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Administrator, Azure Developer Associate)
