About the Role

Aritha Consulting Services is seeking a highly skilled Python UI Test Engineer to join its QA team in Bangalore. This is a full-time opportunity where you’ll contribute to automated UI testing for international retail clients, developing testing frameworks and working with modern technologies such as Selenium, Python, and Air Test Framework.

You will work with a globally distributed team involved in the development and testing of microservices, cloud-native applications, and smart retail solutions. The role involves setting up and managing test environments for complex systems and devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Automate UI test scenarios using Selenium and Air Test frameworks
• Develop and maintain test scripts in Python
• Create and execute functional and automation test plans
• Work on test case design for websites and device interfaces
• Debug issues in complex test environments on Linux and Windows OS
• Collaborate with development teams across geographies
• Support microservice-based applications and cloud deployments

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Strong experience with Python programming
• Proficiency in Selenium automation testing
• Hands-on experience with Air Test Framework
• Knowledge of test design and website test spec creation
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems
• Exposure to Shell scripting
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Tools: TestNG, Cucumber, Git, SVN, Redmine

• Domain knowledge in the Retail industry
• Experience deploying Docker containers
• Familiarity with cloud-based test environments
