Job Description:

Arcadis is looking for a DevOps Engineer to work within its Intelligence division. You will join a forward-thinking product team and help build and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure in both cloud and on-prem environments.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and manage secure infrastructure on Windows, Linux, VMware, Unix
• Implement network device security, firewalls, and address translations
• Design and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenStack)
• Troubleshoot system issues and lead disaster recovery planning
• Automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Ansible, Docker Compose
• Use Infrastructure-as-Code with Puppet, CloudFormation, Ansible
• Manage containerized environments (Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes)
• Implement monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Node Exporter, Sentry
• Manage secure deployments (SSL certificates, security scanning, patching)
• Contribute to DevOps best practices, team agility, and automation culture

Must Have Skills:

• 1+ years of hands-on DevOps experience on Linux-based systems
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Ansible)
• Knowledge of Docker, Linux admin, Git, Bash scripting
• Cloud exposure: AWS (EC2, ELB, Route53, VPC), Azure, or GCP
• Setup and management of HTTPS/SSL tunnels and certs
• Understanding of version control, agile methodology
• Network familiarity: DNS, VPNs, Load Balancers, VLANs
• Experience in log monitoring, incident handling, root cause analysis

Good to Have:

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker Swarm
• BI tools management like Tableau
• Load testing with JMeter
• Exposure to Puppet, XenServer, Elasticsearch, Postgres HA
• Strong scripting skills in Bash/Python
