Job Overview
Apex Systems is hiring a Junior DevOps Engineer to join a cloud-native infrastructure team. This role focuses on CI/CD automation, AWS cloud computing, infrastructure-as-code, and monitoring/logging pipelines to support large-scale enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD
- Automate infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible
- Monitor and manage AWS cloud services: EKS, EC2, S3, ALB, Route53
- Script automation tasks using Python and Bash
- Enhance observability with Prometheus, Grafana, Fluent Bit, Loki, ELK Stack
- Collaborate with senior engineers to scale cloud-native environments
- Document deployment processes and DevOps best practices
Required Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in DevOps automation with Jenkins/GitLab
- Expertise in AWS Infrastructure Management (EKS, EC2, etc.)
- Infrastructure-as-Code: Terraform, Ansible
- Scripting with Python and Bash for automation
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring tools and log analytics
- Strong problem-solving and system optimization skills
- Ability to work in agile, fast-paced development cycles
