Job Summary

Apex One is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our Pune team. As an SRE, you will ensure that our systems are reliable, scalable, and performant. You will work closely with development and operations teams to monitor system health, manage incidents, and drive continuous improvements in availability and reliability.

This role is ideal for candidates passionate about DevOps, Cloud Computing, Monitoring, and Automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable systems to ensure uptime, performance, and availability
• Implement comprehensive service monitoring (Splunk, Prometheus), metrics, dashboards, and alerts
• Respond to and resolve production incidents efficiently; conduct blameless post-incident analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system architecture and operations
• Drive reliability engineering practices to enhance maintainability and fault tolerance
• Define and meet key service level objectives (SLOs and SLAs)
• Utilize DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, and Docker
• Manage configuration and automate infrastructure via cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Support distributed systems and storage (Ceph, S3, HDFS, NFS)
• Apply best practices for performance tuning and proactive system improvement

Required Skills

• Proficiency in programming languages: Python, Java, Go, Ruby, JavaScript, or C/C++
• Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
• Familiarity with distributed resource management (YARN, Apache Mesos)
• Experience in configuration management and automation (Ansible, Terraform)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle pressure
• Excellent understanding of system architecture, networking, and cloud infrastructure
