Job Description:
Amura Marketing Technologies is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Trainee - Backend Developer to join their dynamic tech team in Pune. This role is ideal for freshers or junior developers who want to work on impactful web applications, integrating cutting-edge technology and design in a high-paced agency environment. As a backend developer, you'll be involved in all aspects of development from client discussion, coding, testing to deployment on platforms like AWS and GoDaddy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project goals
• Develop web applications using PHP, Laravel, WordPress, and VueJS
• Troubleshoot, debug and maintain web-based systems
• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration
• Perform backend testing and ensure data integrity
• Assist in website deployment on GoDaddy or AWS EC2 Ubuntu servers
• Ensure smooth integrations and scale applications as per client feedback
• Maintain proper documentation and report progress regularly
• Participate in client meetings and demos

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of PHP, Laravel 8, and WordPress
• Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL, CRUD operations, and ORM (Eloquent)
• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and JSON
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs and API integrations (SMS, Payment, CRM)
• Experience using Git/GitHub/Bitbucket and Linux/Unix environments
• Understanding of MVC and OOP principles
• Practical exposure to DevOps and CI/CD practices
• Passion for clean, efficient code and performance optimization
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Bonus/Additional Skills:

• API development for mobile apps
• Experience with WooCommerce, Shopify
• Server provisioning and SSL setup
• Experience with VueJS (Nuxt) and ReactJS (Next.js)
