Role Overview As an Associate DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in building, securing, and scaling cloud-native financial infrastructure supporting enterprise banking and crypto asset platforms. This role focuses on Azure cloud engineering, Kubernetes operations, infrastructure automation, security compliance, and high-availability systems.
You will collaborate with platform engineers, security teams, and financial technology stakeholders to ensure reliable, compliant, and production-ready cloud systems for next-generation digital banking.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform engineering for Azure-based cloud-native banking infrastructure
- Deploy, manage, and scale Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments
- Manage Kubernetes workloads using Helm and Kustomize
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Implement security baselines, vulnerability management, and patching
- Enhance monitoring, logging, and observability for infrastructure and applications
- Automate operational workflows including incident response, alerting, and security scanning
- Maintain detailed technical documentation and knowledge transfer
- Support secure and compliant financial systems operations
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong expertise in Linux OS, networking, and cloud infrastructure
- 3+ years experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Operations
- Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services, especially Azure Kubernetes Service
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and configuration management
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps, Helm, Kustomize
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Shell scripting
- Experience with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
- Understanding of enterprise security infrastructure (firewalls, IDS/IPS, system hardening)
- Ability to work independently in regulated financial environments
Nice to Have (High-Value Skills)
- GitOps practices using ArgoCD
- Vulnerability and patch management automation
- Experience with Cloudflare (DNS, Zero Trust, mTLS)
- Exposure to banking, fintech, blockchain, or crypto platforms
- Experience working in regulated financial services environments
