Job Overview
AMD is hiring a DevOps Engineer in Hyderabad to design, build, and scale automation pipelines and cloud infrastructure that power next-generation computing technologies across AI, data centers, gaming, and embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain DevOps pipelines for software integration
- Design scalable CI/CD workflows and automation frameworks
- Build and package software for Linux and Windows ecosystems
- Implement infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and self-healing mechanisms
- Collaborate with development teams on branching and code promotion strategies
- Perform code reviews and manage deployments
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing implementations
- Create technical documentation and user guides
- Work in an Agile and test-driven development environment
Preferred Experience
- Strong scripting skills in Python or PowerShell
- Expertise with GitHub Actions and workflow automation
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP in production
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
- Knowledge of cloud security, compliance, and privacy standards
- Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, and monitoring systems
- Familiarity with build systems such as GNU Make, CMake, Visual Studio, MS Build
- Proficiency with Docker and Docker Compose
- Experience with Linux packaging ecosystems (apt, yum, deb) on Ubuntu, SUSE, or RHEL
- Experience managing GitHub or GitLab repositories
- Exposure to Kubernetes, Terraform, or HashiCorp tools is a plus
Academic Credentials
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
