Job Description
Amazon is looking for experienced Support Engineers to join the EPR Pay-on-behalf team. This role supports seller compliance processes by delivering high-quality software solutions that are scalable and adaptable to Amazon’s fast growth.
As a Support Engineer, you will collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to:
- Ensure timely publication of EPR Reports
- Declare EPR remits on time for EU Sellers
- Automate manual processes related to monthly operational cycles
- Support and maintain data pipelines and critical support tools
Key Responsibilities
- Perform data processing using tools and technologies like:
- Cradle, SQL, Ratchit, Quicksight
- AWS services (Lambda, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch)
- Maintain and automate operational support tasks
- Collaborate with PMTs, SDMs, and other stakeholders
- Develop scripts and tools for infrastructure and troubleshooting
- Ensure pipelines are healthy and optimize support operations
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in software development or technical support
- Proficient in troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
- Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux systems
- Experience scripting in modern languages (e.g., Python, Shell, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with web services, REST APIs, distributed systems
- Experience with XML/JSON data formats
- Exposure to hardware/software RAID troubleshooting
- Understanding of cloud computing environments and technologies
