Job Description:
Amazon is looking for a Software Support Engineer to join its Digital Media Technology team. You will be working with a dynamic team responsible for supporting Amazon Kindle, Digital Video, Audio, Music, Audible, and Digital Text products.

In this role, you will provide support engineering and troubleshooting for digital platform services, working with content providers and technical teams to ensure the smooth publishing and delivery of content.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide first-level support for tickets filed in Audible
• Support engineering for troubleshooting and debugging across multiple product lines
• Work with Perl, shell scripts, web technologies, and Java-based projects
• Read and understand complex application code to resolve issues
• Deploy software in staging and production environments
• Develop tools to aid operations and maintenance
• Monitor system status and provide support updates
• Collaborate with Audible engineering team for ongoing support

What You’ll Need:

• 2-4 years of technical support experience
• Experience troubleshooting complex enterprise applications
• Knowledge of networking, hardware performance, and audio/video technologies
• Experience with development in Python, Ruby, NodeJS, C, Java, Perl, or shell scripting
• Familiarity with UNIX/Linux operating systems and tools
• Strong communication skills for incident management calls
