Role Overview: Delivery Consultant - DevOps

AWS is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant - DevOps to join our AWS ProServe team. In this role, you will work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that align with their technical and business objectives. As a Delivery Consultant, you’ll be responsible for architecting scalable and secure solutions, providing technical expertise, and driving customer success throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Implement AWS Solutions: Architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Customer Success: Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to ensure successful implementation of AWS solutions.
• Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, propose migration strategies, and lead the implementation process.
• Trusted Advisor: Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
• Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts within the organization.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Technical Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages like PowerShell or Python.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline).
  • Experience with containerization tools like Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes (EKS) or AWS ECS.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Experience: Proficiency in a range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation).
• Certifications: AWS Professional-level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional) preferred.
• Security Knowledge: Familiarity with security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
• Communication Skills: Strong ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Leadership: Experience conducting technical workshops, training, and mentoring teams, customers, and partners.
