Position Overview:

Allianz Technology is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for automating deployment processes, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring the scalability and reliability of our GenAI applications. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our cutting-edge AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Infrastructure Management:
  • Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure for GenAI applications.
  • Automate deployment, monitoring, and management processes to ensure high availability and performance.
• CI/CD & Automation:
  • Collaborate with development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions for rapid and reliable deployment of new features.
• Cost Optimization & Resource Management:
  • Optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining performance and scalability.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
  • Implement and manage IaC using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• Containerized Applications:
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Amazon ECS and Kubernetes.
• System Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to prevent downtime and data loss.
• Security & Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with security best practices and policies across all cloud environments.
• GenAI Application Support:
  • Maintain and enhance GenAI applications on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Agentic platforms to meet business requirements and performance standards.
• Collaboration & Improvement:
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement improvements in system architecture and processes.
• Stay Updated:
  • Continuously update knowledge on industry trends and technologies to improve infrastructure and processes.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably with GenAI applications.
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with cloud services like AWS and Azure.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
