Role Overview

As an Associate DevOps Engineer, you will help architect, automate, and maintain secure and scalable AWS cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with developers to enhance CI/CD efficiency, improve observability, and streamline internal tooling and cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize cloud-native AWS infrastructure with cost-efficiency, reliability, and security.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Automate CI/CD pipelines for seamless integration, delivery, and testing using tools like GoCD, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
• Monitor infrastructure and application performance using Datadog and CloudWatch.
• Implement logging, alerting, and monitoring systems to ensure high availability.
• Work closely with developers to ensure production readiness and enhance developer experience.
• Perform root cause analysis, post-mortems, and implement corrective strategies.
• Continuously assess scalability and drive cost-optimization improvements.
• Research and propose new tools, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of DevOps engineering experience with hands-on AWS expertise.
• Strong skills in Linux system administration, Build & Release Engineering, and automation scripting (Python or Bash).
• Deep knowledge of AWS services: EC2, RDS, S3, ELB, VPC, IAM, KMS, CloudWatch.
• Experience with serverless technologies and AWS Lambda.
• Proficiency with Terraform (preferred), CloudFormation, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, GoCD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, containers, and infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals such as DNS, HTTPS, NGINX, and Apache.
• Solid version control experience using Git.
