Akamai Cloud Engineer (Full-time)

🛠 Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure: Design and implement AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Load Balancers, Route53).
• CDN & WAF Management: Configure and deploy Akamai solutions and Web Application Firewalls (WAF) for security and performance optimization.
• DevOps & Automation: Use Terraform, Jenkins, Gitlab, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes for continuous integration (CI) and delivery (CD).
• Security & Incident Response: Develop security policies, monitor WAF logs, and mitigate security threats in collaboration with the incident response team.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously assess and improve system security and performance.
• Production Support: Lead implementation and troubleshooting for cloud-based infrastructures.

🎓 Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in AWS cloud services, DevOps, and security tools.
• Technical Skills:
  • Cloud: AWS services and infrastructure.
  • DevOps Tools: Terraform, Gitlab, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Scripting: Python, Bash, Ruby, C-Shell (Good to have).
  • Programming: Java, JavaScript, Python, Ruby (Good to have).
  • Certifications: AWS DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect, Terraform Associate (Preferred).
• Agile/Scrum: Experience working in Agile development environments.
