Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our operations team. You will monitor infrastructure and applications, automate system reliability, and debug complex production issues.
This role requires strong experience in Linux systems, Kubernetes, monitoring tools, automation, and optionally, the Hadoop ecosystem and Big Data technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor infrastructure and application performance
- Use ELK Stack, Prometheus, Zabbix, Loki, TIG stack for observability
- Work with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Docker, Swarm
- Debug and resolve complex infra/tool/API issues
- Automate processes using Python or Shell scripting
- Administer and monitor Linux environments
- Manage middleware like Tomcat and Nginx
- Address and resolve system security vulnerabilities
- Leverage Big Data tools such as HDFS, Hive, Spark, Ranger (desirable)
- Operate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
- Handle queries in Oracle DB (SQL)
- Familiarity with DataHub and DataMesh is a plus
- Willingness to work in 24x7 rotational shifts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related
- 6+ years experience in SRE, DevOps, or similar roles
- Proficiency in Linux command line and scripting
- Understanding of infrastructure monitoring, performance tuning, and incident resolution
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools
- Strong ownership, collaboration, and communication skills
- Passion for automation, reliability, and performance optimization
